Introducing caskcode

Hello, and welcome. If you’ve found your way here, you’re among the first to meet caskcode — so it’s only fair we tell you who we are and what we’re setting out to build.

What caskcode is#

Caskcode builds focused software for teams that run on Atlassian Jira. We care about one problem in particular: the gap between the strategy a company sets and the work that actually gets done. Too often the two drift apart — the goals live in a slide deck, the delivery lives in Jira, and the thread between them quietly frays.

We’d rather keep that thread intact, so the link between what you’re trying to achieve and what you’re working on never gets lost. That’s the idea the whole company is built around, and everything we make comes back to it.

What to expect here#

This blog is where we’ll share product news, the thinking behind the decisions we make, and the occasional look behind the scenes at building for the Atlassian ecosystem. No fixed schedule — just things we think are worth writing down. Expect us to keep it plain and honest: what we shipped, what we learned, and where we’re headed.

And there’s plenty on the way. Our first product, Strategy Hub, is almost here — it brings company strategy and everyday delivery together right inside Jira, and it’s launching very soon. We’ll have much more to say when it does.
